Micromax expected to launch A70 in May at Rs. 9,000

Indian mobile company is keeping place with global players when it comes to launch of new mobiles in India. Micromax the leading Indian mobile manufacturer is all set to launch its new Android smartphone A70 in May this year. This phone which is expected to launch next month is a successor of its previous version Micromax A60. The phone is expected to be in price range of Rs. 9,000.

The phone is expected to come with features like Android 2.2 operating system, 3.2 inches screen with TFT capacitive Touchscreen, microSD card with up to 32GB memory, 3G and Wi-Fi enabled, Bluetooth v2.1, 5 MP dual-cameras with autofocus.

As compared to its previous version the handset has many add on features like the earlier version A 60 only has a 2.8 inches TFT resistive Touchscreen which is less than what A 70 would offer, 3.15MP camera which is not upto the mark as this new handset would avail, the Bluetooth version 2.0 is also less than what the upcoming handset offers.

Micromax has recently come up with various handsets to suit various needs of customer, whether QWERTY handsets like Micromax Q50, Q66 or Touchscreen handsets like Micromax EG333, A60 or for rough and tough use like Micromax GC256, C114 etc.

Since their entry into the Indian mobile handset market in March 2008, they have always come up with something innovative as they believe that consumers in India have unique preferences with respect to mobile handsets, hoping the upcoming handset to get launch soon as it seems good with its expected price and features.
